My yogi life meets Prenatal yoga

yoga has been part of my life since I was 20.

And now, I turned 38 (yup……this is 38!) and I am so proud and feeling privileged that I have been keeping my dedication to yoga for all these year. Moving around 3 different countries — USA, Japan, then Germany — embraced yoga in my hometown in Redondo Beach, California, and kept my practice going in Japan while I struggled with some culture shock.

“Samadhi”, yay for November lessons

Talk about my lovely online session….WOW, we had one heck of a great international session last week (Sunday, Nov. 8th) and I want to just THANK YOU for being there from all over the world!! We had yogis from Germany, Japan, Poland, Australia, and Korea! It was a great way to start the Sunday off — and some of them were ending their Sunday AND prepping for their new week ahead.

more yoga anyone?

Finding time for oneself is so important. It is already end of October, and I keep saying this but this year 2020 seems like it’s just went by in a flash. I am sure that most people won’t miss this year too much looking back at how this year has gone by. Crazy pandemic crisis hit us hard in the beginning of the year not knowing how long it would last and how we could really cope with it.

Time to cozy up for yoga

Have you already gotten your coats and winter jackets out? How about some winter gloves and scarves?? I’ve got my beanies and scarves ready to go. It sure is getting a bit chilly now : it sure smells like fall! Nice rise breeze in the morning and even in the sun, you can tell it’s not the “summer sunshine” anymore.

Autumn yoga time: October lessons

Today is a national holiday here in Germany. It’s the Reunification day when the former East and the West Germany rejoined to be “one Germany”. That happened in 1989, so it’s been already 30 years. WOW…….
Now it’s already October! 2020 is passing by so fast, but I am sure no one would really miss 2020……*lol*

Fall Foliage and another year wiser

Here’s a quick shout-out to say THANK YOU for all the birthday wish I received via phone call, email, video chat, Facebook, Instagram, and even just swinging by here to us in person. 🙂 Yes, another year older…..I hope that I get a bit wiser.

Sunny autumn days

How’s it going? Yes, the world still has the whole Covid-19 issue, and yes, we still feel that there are so many restrictions regards to traveling or seeing our families, BUT we are staying positive and enjoying the sunny days that we got now in our September days.

Quick hip-opener flow

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying some last summer-like days here in Germany. (If you are somewhere else, Japan = try to stay hydrated and take care of the heat stroke; CA = I know there are some fires at the moment (around Oregon as well) so please stay safe; and everyone around the world = just stay well and positive despite this difficult times due to CPVID-19.

September: Upcoming Online lessons!

Smells like autumn is near, and yes, indeed, it already feels like autumn in Germany. We had some few hot days (or weeks) inAugust and all of a sudden…..it’s now around 15-18 degrees C. That was quite a jump from having super hot days and now just quite breezy days.As we start to cozy up and bundle up in some beanies and scarves, it’s time to get active and still enjoy the outdoors while we have the chance.

Arm balancing pose: Crow pose (Kakasana)

Hope all of your summer is going well. I can’t believe that August is already coming to an end.
August went by in a flash….! My online yoga lessons were good — got to do it at least once a week — and my weekly lessons were going also well despite the dreadful heat we had few weeks back.
