Finding time for oneself is so important.
It is already end of October, and I keep saying this but this year 2020 seems like it’s just went by in a flash. I am sure that most people won’t miss this year too much looking back at how this year has gone by. Crazy pandemic crisis hit us hard in the beginning of the year not knowing how long it would last and how we could really cope with it. And now we are facing our second “light” lockdown again here in Germany starting from next Monday. So I guess we can say already that November would pass by super quick as well. We can still enjoy the lovely fall colors outside! We were in Japan last year at this time, so we missed this beautiful season in the Harz region. So now I am just soaking it all up!
Today I had my prenatal yoga lesson with my student — 7 months pregnant. It finally gave me a chance to help a mom-to-be with some possible poses to ease some back pain or even some hip-openers to just ease the body. It’s really great to continue to move and stay active during pregnancy. Whatever you can do, take it slow and take it at your own pace but it is so good to keep moving! I can speak for myself now that I was pregnant and kept my yoga practice going until the very last days of my pregnancy. It makes me so happy to know that I can offer my prenatal lessons by sharing some of my own personal experiences with yoga during pregnancy. I can’t wait to share more of my tips and some assistance!
Thanks to those who joined me last Sunday, Oct. 25th, for my online session. I am so thrilled that we can get everyone from around the world to join me. This time we had yogis from Germany, Tokyo, and Australia. And now I know a few people who want to join from Korea, so that would be super awesome! Since Sunday we are back to our “winter time” so we gained one extra hour back on Sunday early morning…..not too bad. (In spring we ‘spring’ forward, and in fall we ‘fall’ back one. This is how I remember.)
I am feeling blessed that we are still healthy *knock on wood* and staying active — enjoying the outdoors, taking some walks in the woods, getting some sunshine whenever it’s there —- and doing my online yoga sessions. I’ve actually found a room where I could do my yoga lessons with my “outdoor” yoga groups but seems like because of this lockdown coming up, I would have to take a little break from this……*bummer* BUT I will continue to do my online yoga so of course, you guys are ALWAYS WELCOME to join and try to refreshing yourself with some yoga.
Time to get your scarves out and bundle up!
NAMASTE <3
